Bill passed away peacefully after a long illness on December 16, 2016.
He is survived by his wife Kathy, Sons, Russ & Charlie, Daughters, Anita Gibbs, Lisa Hinshaw & Lori Thompson, daughters-in-law, Noreen & Michelle & sons-in-law, Howard Gibbs, David Henderson & DJ Thompson, 10 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell & Erma Asher, brothers Lionel & Tom, sisters Erma "tootie" Waters, Bessie Ball & Phyllis Peterson.
Bill could fix anything & earned the nickname "macgyver". He & Kathy spent many happy years in their RV traveling.
Bear River Lake Resort was one of their favorites & spent many summers there fishing, 4 wheeling & enjoying the mountains.
Bill was a loving & caring husband, father, grandfather & we were blessed to have him in our lives.
He will forever be in our hearts.
