Susan Mary McCord

It is with deep sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Sue McCord, a devoted mother, proud grandmother, sister, and compassionate friend, who passed away on February 5, 2026 at the age of 71.

Sue’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving mother to Mark (Rachael) and Michelle (Neal) whose kindness, strength, and steady support shaped the lives of her children. But nothing brought her more happiness than being a grandmother. Her grandchildren, Alexis (Oscar), Luke (Maddie), Logan, Kayden, and Kaleb were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them — from shared laughter and stories to the simple comfort of being together. She celebrated their accomplishments, comforted them in difficult times, and made each one feel deeply loved and special.

Known for her generous heart, Sue always found ways to help others. Whether through acts of kindness, offering encouragement, or simply being present when someone needed her, she touched countless lives.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, brothers Kevin, Bob (Rena), and Kelly (Marla), sisters Patti and Kathy (Steve), nieces and nephews who will continue to carry her love and lessons forward. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.

A graveside memorial service will be held for family and friends on Saturday, March 7th at 11:00 am at Calvary Cemetery. A celebration of Sue’s life will follow at the McCord residence.
