Stephen Sidney Sherman

Stephen Sidney Sherman (Steve), longtime resident of Granite Bay, California, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022.  He was 70 years old. 

Steve was born to the late William and Leona Sherman on October 26, 1951, in Fresno, California. After living in Fresno for a few years, the family moved to North Fork, California. In 1965, the family moved to Ophir, California. Steve graduated from Placer High School in 1969. He married Pam Walsh in November of 1975. Together, Steve and Pam have two daughters and four grandchildren. Steve had a long, successful career with Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E). He began working at PG&E in 1974 in General Construction and retired in 2015 as the Technical Supervisor of Drum Hydro Technical Services.

Steve is survived by his wife, Pam; Daughters, Kristy Mitchell and Jenny Pearcy; Sons-in-law, Jason Mitchell and Joe Pearcy; grandchildren, Jocelyn, Delilah, Silas, and Isla. He will also be dearly missed by his beloved extended family and cherished friends.

A memorial service has been planned. On Tuesday, June 7^th, a Graveside Service will be held at Roseville Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. A luncheon reception will follow at approximately 11:00 a.m. at Hillsborough Park in Roseville. Flowers can be sent to Heritage Oaks Memorial Chapel in Rocklin.
