Robert Seiver, 88, passed away on March 12, 2019, at his home in Roseville, CA. Robert was born June 17, 1930, in Chico, California to Romney and Cordelia Seiver. He attended Chico State University, graduating in June 1952. His job took him to the University of Minnesota in Rosemount, where he worked as an engineer in a research lab. Robert enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1955, performing aircraft maintenance inspections and repairs.
After returning to the University of Minnesota in 1959, he met his wife Julie.
Robert and Julie Nicholls were married in August of 1962 and relocated to Sunnyvale, California for his job at Lockheed Missiles and Space Company. Bob worked as a design engineer for Lockheed for thirty years, and after retiring in 1992, he and Julie moved to Roseville to enjoy their retirement with friends and family. He enjoyed anything that included airplanes, sports cars and looked forward to his weekly bocce ball games and tournaments. Bob was happiest spending time with his family; whether that was a cross country motorhome trip, a visit to Monterey, a Hawaiian vacation or spending time in England, his family was his passion. He is survived by his wife, Julie of 56 years; daughters, Jacinda and Lisa, son, Troy, son-in-laws, Scott and Juhan, daughter-in-law, Sally, granddaughters, Mackenzie, Alexandra, Holly and Megan.
