Richard Alan Pahler

February 10, 1944 — November 16, 2015

Entered into rest November 16, 2015 from bladder cancer.
He was born in Teaneck New Jersey Feb 10, 1944 to Frank and Clara Pahler. The family moved to the bay area in 1954 where Rich attended schools and graduated from Awalt High in Las Altos, class of 1963. He worked for Hewlett-Packard in Palo Alto and Santa Rosa for 34 years. After retiring to Rocklin in 1999 he kept busy playing golf and worked at Wood Creek Golf Course. He had a standing golf date at Pine Mt Lake with lifelong friends that span over thirty years. He was preceded in death by his parents, older brother Frank Pahler Jr., and son Scott Pahler. He is survived by his wife Karen Pahler, son Kevin Pahler (Dianna) and daughter in law Tina Pahler, sister Joy Cavaness, (Ron), stepson Brian Ventura and Mark Ventura (Cara). Granddaughters Kaithlyn and Bianca Pahler. Step grandchildren Genna and Stephen Ventura. The many memories made, will comfort us. His expressions and his humor will continue to make us smile. Do not morn what we have lost; rejoice instead that we had him. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of his life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday November, 28th, 2015 at Heritage Oaks Memorial Chapel, 6920 Destiny Drive, Rocklin, CA 95677 and are also invited to visit his memorial tribute site at www.tributes.com/Richard-Pahler
