Richard William Dichiara

Richard W. (Dick) Dichiara -- 1942-2013 passed away unexpectedly on July 2 after a tragic accident. Dick was the beloved husband of Ramona (Frostie) Dichiara for 49 years, loving father of Duane (Valerie) Dichiara, Lisa (Bob) Kramer and adored grandfather of Ella and Wills Dichiara of Sacramento and Carlee Ray Kramer of Placerville. Dick was preceeded in death by his parents Frank and Dorothy Dichiara. Dick spent his life and career working with kids. He was a teacher, coach, counselor, vice principal and principal working at Delta High School, Ponderosa, El Dorado and Union Mine for a total of 36 years where he coached football, baseball and girls' basketball before retiring. Dick attended Sacramento High School and Sacramento State College where he played baseballThere will be a celebration of Dick's life on July 13 at 3:00 pm at the Dante Club in Sacramento.
