October 10, 1957 in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Billy Nunn and Doretha Nunn welcomed the birth of their son Reginald. Over the course of the years the Nunn family lived near and far as Reginald grew up as what is affectionately known as a "military brat".
The family finally made their home in Sacramento, CA, where Reggie accepted Christ into his life and was baptized at Zion Church in Jesus Christ under the leadership of Bishop Sam Jones. Reggie completed his educational studies in Sacramento and received his high school diploma from Highlands High School.
Reggie was inspired by his father and decided to follow in his footsteps and joined the United Stated Army on October 21, 1976. He served his country for many years; traveling oversees to many different countries. During this time Reggie received many awards and certificates for his service and retired at the rank of Sergeant First Class (E7) on June 30, 1995.
Later in life, Reggie met Velma and the two became one as they proclaimed their love for another and joined in holy matrimony on September 10, 2005. Reggie later joined the St. Paul MBC under the leadership of Dr. Ephraim Williams where he was a faithful Sunday School member.
Reggie had many passions in life. He was known to be "tech savvy", the "great debater" and a "Jazz music connoisseur".
On August 18th 2017, God saw the dedicated service Reggie gave his country for many years and said, "Well Done my Good and Faithful Servant". Reginald D. Nunn is now serving in the Army of the Lord!
