Randolph Seth Mayhew, a beloved husband, father, and brother, passed peacefully on November 6 2024, at the age of 79 in Lincoln, California. Born on January 10, 1945, in Fresno, California, Randy lived a life marked by love, devotion, and unwavering commitment to his family.
Randy proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army, and this sense of duty carried over into his long and fulfilling career as a Construction Manager for USA Properties Fund, where he dedicated 23 years of his life. His professional journey was distinguished by a remarkable work ethic and a passion for building not just structures, but lasting relationships.
Above all else, Randy was a family man. His dedication to his wife, Patty Mayhew, and their children, Brett and Chad Mayhew, was the cornerstone of his existence. Randy's love for his family was palpable, and he fostered an environment filled with kindness, positivity, and laughter. His daughter-in-law, Laura Mayhew, also felt the warmth of his affection, as he welcomed her into the family with open arms.
Randy's humor was legendary; he maintained a sparkling sense of humor even in the face of adversity. This trait endeared him to many, as he approached life's challenges with a light heart and an uplifting spirit. He found joy in the simple moments, creating countless cherished memories with those he loved.
He is survived by his devoted spouse, Patty, his sons Brett and Chad, his daughter-in-law Laura, and his dear sister Judy Johnson, who held a special place in his heart. Randy's legacy of love and laughter will forever resonate within his family.
Randy is lovingly remembered by his family and friends, who will carry his spirit in their hearts. He joins in eternal rest his parents, Edward and Grace Mayhew, his brother Blake Mayhew, and his in-laws, Clifford and Betty Greene. Though he has departed from this world, the love he shared and the memories he created will never fade.
