Omid Fadavi

May 15, 1976 — February 21, 2021

In loving memory of our beloved hero, Omid.

We want to first of all extend our gratitude to all the relatives, friends and attendees who
have come today to honer this great man, Omid Fadavi.

All of us knew Omid in variety of roles; Father, Husband, Son, Uncle, brother, nephew,
cousin and friend.

Omid was born to Mahin Beheshtipour and Massoud Fadavi on May 15,1976. He was the
oldest of two children and the first grandchild of the family.

When among us family members we talked about Omid's memories, one quality everyone
agreed on without hesitation was how intelligent he was. During elementary, He was able to
skip a grade and complete two grades in one year. His high IQ never went unnoticed and it
was, and it will be always a part of our conversation and something we are all proud of.

Omid was 10 years old when he immigrated to Germany with his family. Although he was
quite young, he was able to prove his great intelligence once again, and did a tremendous
job at his new school in Germany. After finishing school, he became an entrepreneur and
took over a restaurant.

In 2001 Omid decided to move to United States. After overcoming few challenges he was
able to find his path. He started working at Teen Challenge, a non-profit Christian
organization and dedicated his time and energy in helping fellow human beings who had life
controlling issues. He was loved among all the staff and students.

Omid was loved differently among his grandparents, aunts, uncles and all his cousins. To his
mother Mahin, Omid was and still is piece of her heart and part of her being. He surrounded
her with endless love, and brought security, joy and warmth to their lives. To many of us he
was the big protective brother. He cared deeply for people in his life.

As Azi, his sister, beautifully describes, to her, Omid was nest and wings in equal shares.
He was the embodiment of love, kindness, and helpfulness. We lost our style icone Rockstar,
the ace of spade of our family, but we still have his Queen Dionna and his little king Nico,
who will forever keep Omid's memories alive.

Regardless of the geographical distances and political circumstances, which did not allow our
families to meet up frequently, we've always held Omid and his Family close to our hearts.
We have been watching Nico since birth, growing up year after year and we were relieved
seeing our lucky Omid surrounded by his new warm-hearted lovely family.

Our deepest condolences to Massoud, Dionna, Nico, Monet, Noah and Shane, his father and
mother in-law Felix and Gloria Salazar who have always been by his side. Our thoughts and
prayers are with you, we love you, we are grieving with you and cannot wait to see you and
to hold you tight.

Our dearest Omid, may your beautiful soul rest in eternal peace. We will forever cherish
your memories. We love you endlessly and we will miss you tremendously...

"I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart)"...

With sincere sympathies,

Beheshtipour, Fadavi , Kazemi, Zaker & Nasouti family
