Norma G Rebholtz

Norma was born August 16, 1931 in San Francisco, CA and passed away in Roseville, CA on January 2, 2017 at the age of 85. She is survived by her husband of 63 years George, sons Michael and Mark, daughters Kimberly, Shaun & Katrina; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by parents Walter and Gertrude Reubold , twin sister Barbara and husband Blair Alexander and older sister June and husband Edward Kennedy.

Norma attended Lincoln High School and City College and San Francisco State University, were she earned her Bachelor of Arts & Teaching Credentials. She met the love of her life, George, at City College in 1950. George was called back into service for Korea in Sept 1950 and they were married 18 months after he returned in May of 1953. Norma's teaching career was first grade and the last several years' kindergarten. She was ahead of her time using 6 and 12 string guitars educating her children through music. She had a popcorn machine for rewards & even raised animals in her classroom. Her students loved coming to school & parents were in line to get their children in her classroom.
