Nancy Jean Wolf, passed away at 77 years old on Thursday, August 22, 2019 in Roseville, CA. She was born on July 10, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa. Nancy was the second born of three daughters; Sandra, Nancy, and Bette. Nancy was married on June 8. 1963, and shared 56 happy years of marriage with the love of her life, Richard "Dick" Wolf. They have two children – Von Wolf, married to Shanna Wolf and Ginny Davis married to Lynell Davis. They have a total of four grandchildren: Richard "Samuel" (20), Abigail (18), Hannah (17), and Imani (4). There is nothing Nancy loved more than spending time with family. She loved to get down on the floor with the grandkids to play board games with them. She loved to sit around the dinner table and laugh and share stories. Her home was always open and welcoming. She loved to travel with friends and to visit her distant family. Time spent with relatives and friends was her most prized possession.
Nancy enjoyed gardening and getting her hands dirty planting and pruning her beautiful flowers. She took great pride in her home and cared for it well, as she did all the precious people in her life. Dick and Nancy have attended Pleasant Grove Community Church for many years and Nancy loved the Lord with all her heart. She enjoyed many wonderful relationships with friends at her church, from her work at the Roseville City School District, and in her neighborhood and community in Sun City Roseville. We will miss her beauty, wisdom and way she made everyone feel special and important, but thankfully we are all left with many wonderful memories and we can celebrate that she now lives in a place free from the restrictions of Parkinson's Disease. And we live with the glorious hope that we will see her again one day.
