Nancy Jane Phares

Nancy Jane Phares, age 89 of Rocklin, CA passed away on August
31, 2021. She was born in RushvilleJN to George and Lillian Poston.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard; daughter,
Diane Hoxie; son, Stephen Phares; daughter, Linda Castleman; son,
Charles Phares; daughter, Sandra Kurahara; and brother, Frank
Poston. Also surviving are six grandchildren and five great
grandchildren.
Nancy was a 1954 graduate from Ball State University in Indiana
where she met her husband. She was a loyal Air Force wife for 25
years who managed many homes including homes in Europe and
Hawaii. After all the military moves she relished staying in one place to
be close to her children and grandchildren.
Retirement years were a joy playing golf with friends as members of
Sunset Whitney CC and going RV camping and fishing. Most of all
she loved being a wife, mother and grandmother.
