Nancy Elaine Carlock, a beloved mother, wife, and friend, left this world on February 8, 2025, in San Francisco, at the age of 67. Born on September 20, 1957, in Phoenix, Arizona, she lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a dedication to her family and career.

For 25 years, Nancy made a profound impact as an ESL teacher in the Chino Unified School District, the Hacienda La Puente School District, and Colorado Springs District 20. Her passion for education was matched only by her unwavering belief in the potential of every student. She was deeply committed to her work, inspiring countless individuals with her kindness, patience, and infectious sense of humor. Many remember her not just as a teacher, but as a confidante who listened with an open heart and a reassuring smile.

An avid reader, Nancy found joy in the pages of books, often sharing those stories with her family. She was also a great cook, delighting her loved ones with meals lovingly prepared from her kitchen. It was in these moments, surrounded by family, where her warmth truly shone through. Nancy especially cherished her time with her two sons. Her proudest accomplishments stemmed from her steadfast dedication to raising Kevin and Matthew to be outstanding individuals, instilling in them values of kindness and compassion.

She was known for her friendly demeanor and ever-present wit, making the world a brighter place for those blessed to know her. Nancy is survived by her devoted husband, David Carlock, and her son, Kevin Carlock, who carry forward her legacy of love and dedication. She is also remembered fondly by her cousins, Vicki and Jim Biermann, who were close companions in the journey of her life.
