Mary Jane Hogrefe

Born as Mary Jane Nance on November 14, 1936 in Fresno California; passed away April 9, 2014, Lincoln CA, age 77. Graduated from Fresno High School in 1954 and Fresno State University in 1958. She married Larry Hogrefe on September 7, 1957. After college she taught elementary school for 17 years. She lived in various cities in California before they settled down to enjoy their golden years first in the Walnut Creek area and later in Lincoln Sun City. Where ever life took her, she and Larry made many new friends. She loved to see the world, and travelled on cruises 23 times over the years. Mary Jane is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Larry, daughters Liz Gray (Mike), Susan Larson (Greg) and Nancy Stavro (Mark), grandchildren Brian, Stephanie, Eric, Tim, Jackie and Nicole, and sister Carolyn Doane.
