Marilyn Sue Meyerpeter, 87, of Lincoln, California passed away at home on March 23, 2025.
She was born in Enid, Oklahoma, to James and Pauline Fraizer on October 24, 1937.
While still in high school she met her future husband William Meyerpeter, who was in pilot training at Vance Air Force Base. In the early 1970’s, when William retired, they bought 80 acres of land in Thermalands to begin their lives as ranchers. They raised sheep for many years and it became apparent that Marilyn had a natural gift for animal husbandry.
Predeceased by her husband, William, Marilyn is survived by a brother, James Fraizer; sons William Meyerpeter Jr. (Laurie) and Brian Meyerpeter (Christine); daughters Anna Newman and Paula Tucker (Jonathan); 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Marilyn will be remembered for her love of people, her strong Christian faith, and her active participation in the Thermalands community for over 50 years.
A celebration to honor Marilyn’s life will be held May 3rd, 1:00 pm at the Thermalands Community Center. A private interment will be at the Manzanita Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Thermalands Community Center, 7755 McCourtney Rd, Lincoln, CA 95648.
