Malachi Richard Magee

Mick was born on March 27, 1936 in Butler, South Dakota and passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026 in Carmichael, California. Mick was raised on a farm in Webster, South Dakota and moved to Sacramento at the age of 16. He was a 1954 graduate of CK McClatchy High School. Mick owned and operated Design III Interiors where he met his beloved wife of 39 years. Mick was an avid woodworker who handcrafted many beautiful pieces of furniture. He loved his large family, fishing, golfing and listening to polka music.

Mick was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Magee, his parents Clarence and Helen Magee and his siblings, Pat, John, William and Willis. He is survived by his children Mary (Gerald) Beeks, Michael (Tammy) Magee, Margaret (Robert) Prather, Richard (Cynthia) Magee, Robert (Diana) Magee, Terry (Frank) Duarte, Norman (Cindy) Denny and Jeff (Vicky) Denny; 23 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Margaret Magee and many nieces and nephews. Services will take place at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 4450 Granite Drive, Rocklin, California on Friday February 13, 2026. Viewing will begin at 10:00am, Rosary at  10:30am and the funeral will follow at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mick's memory.
