Lenora Harrison passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, from the effects of lung cancer.
She was born in Clayton, Oklahoma, in 1939 to the late Leonard and Thera Mozelle Burleson. The oldest of five children, she moved to southern California when she was five years old. She grew up in a family deeply rooted in the antiques and import business. After attending Leuzinger High School, Lenora married and had three sons, Jimmy, Lynn “Lenny” and Larry Pearson.
Lenora had a head for business. At age twenty, she began working in sales for Pioneer Aluminum. She was instrumental in the success of the family business. She later went to work for Foster Freeze International where she worked her way up to Financial Advisor at the corporate offices.
In 1971, she met the love of her life, Charles “Bud” Harrison. They married and in 1977, moved to Sacramento where they realized their dream of building something together. They opened Harrison’s Antiques, a thriving import and retail business that reflected their passion and dedication to the trade.
Bud’s career in law enforcement and security took them to Cocoa Beach, Florida, Kauai, Hawaii and Bangor, Washington. It was during this time that Lenora earned her real estate license. When they left Washington, they decided to make Sun City Roseville their home.
Lenora flourished in her new environment. She and Bud were well loved and always in the thick of things. It was during this time that Lenora earned her broker’s license and her career took off. She was known for her real estate knowledge, attention to detail but most of all for her remarkable customer service. She took to heart the trust her clients placed in her.
Lenora loved her family fiercely. Her world was forever brightened by the addition of her grandchildren, Alexander Valenzuela, Taryn, Tori Lynn and Taylor Pearson and Victoria Bair.
She is survived by her sons Jimmy and Larry, her grandchildren, her siblings, Linville “Limbo” (Tamara) and Glenn (Glenna), stepdaughter, Madlyn Hilton, many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
Lenora was preceded in death by her son, Lenny, her parents, brother, Dale (Sherron) and sister, Thera (Stanley).
Lenora will be remembered most for her kindness, sense of fun and love of her family and friends.
A celebration of life will take place Saturday, April 25 at the Timber Creek Ballroom at 6:00 pm.
