Kimberly Ann Kato

Kimberly (Kimi) Ann Kato, beloved mother of Lilly Ann Rodriguez, and beloved daughter of Jerry Kato & Sally Spaeth, went to be with our Lord Jesus on June 19, 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Lilly Ann Rodriguez; her mother, Sally Spaeth; her father, Jerry Kato; stepfather Tim Spaeth, sister Nicole Lightfoot, birth mother Lois Lightfoot, her biological father Michael; grandfather, Dutch (Pops) Thompson; cousin Robert Parker III; and many friends. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Margaret (Peggy) Parker; uncle, Robert Parker Jr. (Bobby), and Nana Tressy Thompson.

Kimi grew up in Rocklin, California. She attended Maria Montessori pre-school in Roseville, Parker Whitney Elementary, Springview Middle, Rocklin Academy, Forest Lake Christian and Rocklin High & Sierra College. Kimi was very artistic and loved photography. She moved to Southern California at age 18 to pursue modeling. She loved the big city life, the ocean and the weather there. She enjoyed traveling to New York, Paris and Dubai. Kimi recently returned to Rocklin with her daughter. She will be sorely missed.
