Karen Lee Boyington Hill

Karen Lee Boyington, 83, of Granite Bay, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025.Born in Hayward, California, she was the daughter of Irene Randolph and Robert Boyington, and the beloved sister of Johnny Boyington, Jeannette, and Gina.

Karen lived a vibrant, hardworking, and creative life. She began her career as an interior decorator, later became the owner of an anti-aging clinic, and spent her final years working in property management. No matter the field, Karen approached every endeavor with determination and an unshakable belief that anything she set her mind to could be accomplished — and she proved that time and time again.

At home, Karen’s gifts shined even brighter. She was happiest with her hands in the soil, surrounded by the flowers and plants she tended with such care. A talented gardener and seamstress, she could often be found at the nursery picking out new treasures for her yard or gathering supplies from her favorite arts and crafts stores. She was also an excellent cook, a lover of travel, and a nurturing presence to everyone who knew her.

Above all, Karen was devoted to her family. She was endlessly proud of her sons and grandchildren, never missing an opportunity to brag about their accomplishments. She offered honest advice, loving guidance, and unwavering support — a true anchor for those she cared about. She was one of the strongest and hardest-working women you could ever meet, and her strength lives on in the family she loved so dearly.

Karen is survived by her three sons: Earl, David, and James; her three granddaughters Justine, Sierra and Sydney; and her grandson James Jr. 3 great grandchildren, Sundari, Lincoln and Noelle. Her family will forever carry with them the wisdom she often shared, including her reminders that we are all “creatures of habit” and a “product of your environment.”

Her legacy of love, resilience, and creativity will live on in every life she touched.
