John Joseph Perry

John Joseph Perry, 84 of Lincoln, California passed away, Saturday June 27th at his home after a long battle with cancer; he was surrounded by his family.
John was born January 21st, 1931 in Chicago Illinois to Ralph and Mary Perry. On October 11th 1951 he married Loretta Naughton. He worked as an Iron Worker in downtown Chicago; on buildings such as John Hancock and Sears Tower. After a back injury in 1976, John was in need of warmer weather and moved his family to Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2010 he relocated to Lincoln. John was a devoted family man who enjoyed fishing; however his true passion was cooking for his family.
John is survived by his 3 daughters and 2 sons, Jeanine Giffin, Dee Perry and John Perry Jr of Lincoln, Randy Perry of South Carolina and Joey Viviani of Las Vegas, Nevada; 9 grandchildren Tony, Tracie, Shannon, Jason, BJ, Megan, Alexis, Sierra & Skylar and 9 great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Anthony, Jaidyn, Madisyn, Kayla, Adrien, Aiden, Brody & Mia. He was preceded in death by his wife, his son Anthony Perry and his grandson Jay Perry.
