John Howard Peck was 93 years old when he passed away on Jan 5th 2018 in Lincoln, CA
He was born in Chester, Pennsylvania on June 19th, 1924 to Franklin and Fannie Peck.
John was a Navy Veteran of the Second World War and a member of "the greatest generation". He was a vibrant, creative, loving man with a unique personality. Everyone whose lives he touched loved him and enjoyed him. He had many great stories and loved to tell them!
John loved animals, especially his dogs. Two of his favorites, Mishka and Jamie were well known to all that knew him as they were always with him.
He was a long time member of the local community as he moved the family to northern California in the 1960's. He started his own Heating & Air Conditioning business and continued in it until he retired.
He enjoyed traveling with wife Patsy in their RV and they would often just "take off" in the spur of the moment for a new adventure.
Up until his passing he enjoyed many activities that he loved. He enjoyed time with family and friends and especially loved playing pinochle and poker, golfing, and fishing. He also spent hours and hours tending to his garden and grounds. He was always building something, and was always looking for the "next project" to start……he had to stay busy.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patsy and his 5 children; Betty Jean, John Howard Jr., Lois Ann, Cheryl Anne and Franklin Jay. He is also survived by his Grandchildren, Erick, Lisa, Dinielle and Tiffany and Great Grandchildren, Erick John, Caleb, Braxton, Taelynn, Nolan, Leah and Sophia.
He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal."
