John Kenneth Crawford

Jack was born in Santa Barbara, California on July 24, 1935 to Beth and Earl Crawford.

He grew up on the oil field leases of the Central Valley in Taft and Bakersfield.  He had one sister, Lucille Irene Crawford.

He loved the country life, riding horses and playing football in high school.  He went to Fresno State where he met his beloved Beverly. They were married on February 8,1958, in Fresno, California.

Jack and Beverly became Born Again Christians in the mid-late 1960’s. Jack worked tirelessly for God through his service to Valley Church in Cupertino, California. He served as a deacon, an elder and a long term Sunday school teacher.

He loved watching sports of all kinds but football and baseball were his top picks. He loved the wild flowers of the Central Valley. He was funny and had a great sense of humor.

Jack and Bev have two children, Darren and Mary Beth, who survive them. They are also survived by Janet, Darren’s wife, and their children Samantha, Nicole and Rachel, as well as a great granddaughter Naomi, and Matt, Nicole’s husband.
