Joanne D. Cemo, 72, of Lincoln, CA, passed away on Sunday, October 25th after complications from a debilitating stroke.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30th at Kilaga Springs Lodge, 1167 Sun City Blvd, Lincoln, CA. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Oaks Memorial Chapel in Rocklin. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Heritage Oaks Memorial Chapel.
Joanne was born in Sacramento, Ca. on June 30, 1943 to Sam and Ruth Cemo. She graduated from Norte Del Rio High School.
Her career was spent utilizing the gifts she felt God had blessed her with. She spent many years designing anything from desktop publishing to Landscape design and even designing her own plate art. Joanne retired from the State of California Forestry Dept. She adored her family and friends which were many, but the love of her life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was saved and baptized at Capital Christian Center in Sacramento and then moved to Lincoln and attended Valley View Church of Lincoln Hills and Lincoln Christian Life Center.
Joanne is survived by daughter Kerin and husband Dave of Placer County, CA, son Devin and wife Charity of Lawton, OK, 3 grandsons and 5 granddaughters and brothers Sammy, Frank and Kenneth.
Joanne is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth and father, Sam.
