Jesse was a loving son and brother born to Lupe and Josephine Castro in Kansas City, Kansas on April 6, 1937.

After graduating high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force. While stationed in Tainan, Taiwan he met and fell in love with Chun Lin and they were married on November 28th, 1959, and had six children: Mali, Mark, Julie, Anthony, Thomas and Jesse, Jr.; and eight grandchildren. They were married almost 62 years.

Jesse with his family traveled the world and resided at 12 different Air Force bases throughout his career. He rose to the rank of Senior Master Sargent and after 25 years of hard work and dedicated service he retired from the Air Force. He then went on to work Civil Service at McClellan Air Force Base for 19 years. He officially retired in 1999 in Rocklin, Ca.

While retired, Jesse enjoyed his family, traveling, working on anything and everything around the house and taking long walks with Chun.

Jesse passed away peacefully on October 27, 2022 with his wife Chun and daughter Julie by his side. His final resting place is Sacramento Valley VA Memorial Cemetery in Dixon, Ca.

Jesse was a loving and devoted husband, dad, father-in-law and grandfather. He will be missed always and will always be in our hearts and memories.
