Ivan Petrovich Supryaga

Иван Супряга, любимый муж, отец, дедушка, брат и друг, ушел из жизни 26 мая 2024 года, в возрасте 88 лет. Присутствие Ивана приносило бесконечную радость и тепло своим близким, оставляя после себя наследие доброты, света и неизменной преданности семье.

Иван родился в деревне Матвеевка, Полтава, Украина в 1936 году, сын Татьяны и Петра. У него были две сестры - Лидия и Светлана. Иван был очень талантлив в учебе и помогал своим сестрам в математике и науке. Он также был увлечённым шахматистом, и любил петь и играть на гитаре. Окончив медицинский колледж в 22 года, он вместе с родителями переехал в Крым, где посвятил около 30 лет службе врачом-парамедиком, леча и помогая многим. В 28 лет Иван встретил любовь своей жизни, Валентину, и 10 июля 1965 года они вступили в брак. Обосновавшись в курортном городе Евпатория, Крым, они вырастили двоих своих детей - Владимира и Светлану. Иван был надежной опорой как муж и отец, обеспечивая оберегая свою семью и активно участвуя в воспитании своих детей. Своим примером, таким как трудолюбие, верность, доброта, и уважение, он внушил эти принципы своим детям и развивал их любовь к обучению и знаниям через рассказы и передачу своей страсти к книгам.

В 2005 году, в 69 лет, Иван начал новую главу жизни в Калифорнии наряду с женой, переехав в Розвилль, чтобы жить со своей дочерью Светланой и ее мужем Карлом. Здесь он нашел радость в своей новой американской жизни, работая и внося свой вклад в воспитание своих внучек, Кейтлин и Aмилии. Они обожали своего дедушку и навсегда будут хранить в памяти те моменты, которые разделяли с ним и любовь, которую он дарил им.

Помимо преданности семье, Иван был олицетворением доброты для всех, с кем встречался. Будь то слова поддержки, практическая помощь или просто готовность выслушать, Иван был источником неизменной поддержки для всех. Его бескорыстие и добродушие освещали жизнь тех, кто находился рядом с ним, оставляя незабываемый след любви и доброты.

Иван всегда находил время на хобби, которые обогащали его жизнь. Будучи активным читателем, он постоянно стремился к новым знаниям и любил стимулирующие беседы, оставляя незабываемый след на окружающих. Иван также решил изучить английский язык, чтобы более самостоятельно справляться с жизнью в США. Иван вел очень активный образ жизни, регулярно занимаясь физическими упражнениями и катаясь по городу на своем велосипеде до последнего года жизни.

Иван прожил полную, долгую и глубоко значимую жизнь. Среди всех его достижений Иван ценил свою семью превыше всего. Валентина, его возлюбленная жена, с которой он прожил 59 лет, была не только любовью всей его жизни, но и его самым близким другом, и он испытывал огромную гордость за своих детей и внуков, которые приносили ему неизмеримую радость на протяжении всего его пути. Несмотря на трудности борьбы с раком в последний год, Иван оставался вечным оптимистом, ценя каждый момент, который подарила ему жизнь. Его неугасимая страсть к жизни светила ярко до последних дней, вдохновляя всех, кто его знал. Он навсегда останется в наших сердцах, и памяти.

Ivan Supryaga, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away peacefully on May 26, 2024, at the age of 88. Ivan's presence brought boundless joy and warmth to his loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family. 

Ivan was born in the village of Matveevka, Poltava, Ukraine in 1936 to parents Tatiana and Peter. He had two sisters Lidia and Svetlana. Ivan was very gifted academically and helped his sisters with math and science. He was also an avid chess player and loved to sing and play guitar. Graduating from medical college, at 22, he and his parents relocated to Crimea, where he dedicated many years to serving as a paramedic, touching countless lives with his compassionate care.  At 28, Ivan met his soulmate, Valentina, and on July 10, 1965, they exchanged vows, beginning a lifelong journey together. Settling in the coastal town of Yevpatoria, Crimea, they raised their two children, Vladimir and Svetlana. Ivan was a pillar of strength as both a husband and father, providing for his family and deeply engaging in his children's upbringing. By living out his values, such as hard work, loyalty, kindness, and respect, he instilled these principles in his children and fostered their love for learning and knowledge through storytelling and sharing his passion for books.

In 2005, at 69, Ivan embraced a new chapter in California alongside his wife, moving to Roseville to live with their daughter Svetlana and her husband Carl. Here, he found joy in his new American life, working part-time and contributing to the upbringing of his granddaughters, Katelyn and Amelia. They adored their grandfather and will forever treasure the memories they shared with him and the love he showered upon them.

In addition to his devotion to his family, Ivan was a beacon of kindness and compassion to everyone he encountered. Whether it was offering words of encouragement, providing practical assistance, or simply being a listening ear, Ivan was a source of unwavering support and kindness to all. He always welcomed guests into his home with open arms.  His selflessness and light-hearted nature brightened the lives of those around him, leaving an indelible mark of love and compassion on the world.

Aside from his dedication to his loved ones, Ivan made time for hobbies that enriched his life. A voracious reader, he constantly sought new knowledge and engaged in stimulating conversations, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. He also undertook the challenge of learning English to navigate life in the US more independently. He maintained his vitality by regularly exercising and exploring the city on his bike until his final year.

Ivan lived a full, long, and deeply meaningful life. Among all his accomplishments, Ivan cherished his family above all else. Valentina, his beloved wife of 59 years, was not only the love of his life but also his dearest friend, and he took immense pride in his children and grandchildren who brought him immeasurable joy throughout his journey. Despite the challenges of battling cancer in his last year, Ivan remained an eternal optimist, cherishing every moment life presented him. His unwavering passion for life shone brightly until his final days and inspired all who knew him. He will forever live in our hearts and his legacy will continue to uplift us.

In honoring the memory of Ivan Petrovich Supryaga, we celebrate a life richly lived - one filled with love, empathy, loyalty, hard work and an enduring spirit that will never be forgotten. May he find eternal peace, knowing he was cherished and respected by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
