Hilda, a resident of Roseville passed away at home on October 26, 2013 at the age of 94. She was born on November 18, 1918 to Gerda and Robert Leiva in Manhattan Beach, Ca and was raised in Redondo Beach, Ca. She graduated from Redondo Beach High School, class of 1936. She proudly served in the Women's Ambulance & Defense Corp as a Second Lieutenant during World War II, later working at North American Aviation as a "Rosie the Riveter" on the B-25 Aircraft.
Hilda was married to Robert Glass in 1942 and they lived in Redondo Beach until they divorced. She later married Burt C. Koch and they moved to San Carlos where they raised their family.
Hilda is survived by her children, Kenneth Glass Koch, Linda Koch, Rebecca Koch, Gary Koch and his wife Lea Anne. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kenneth Koch, Jr., Sean Koch, Rhiannon Koch, Brandon Gardner and Chad Gardner and her great grandchildren Skylar Koch, Halee Koch and Harley Koch. She was predeceased by her grandson Donald Behai and her daughter in law Gina Koch.
