George Charles Perris

George C. Perris, 85, longtime resident of Rocklin, CA, died peacefully, Friday, December 29, 2017.
George was born in Peabody, MA on July 31, 1932, son of the late Calliope (Caristianos) and Charles Perris. George was a graduate of Peabody High School class of 1950. He was a graduate of Northeastern University (1959) earning a B.S. in Business Administration. George maintained close ties to the university through its alumni program.
George met his wife, Erine, in 1955. They were married on March 2, 1957. They would have been married 61 years.
George served his country proudly as a machinist in the US Navy during the Korean War from 1951 to 1955. George served on the U.S.S. Soley stationed near Japan. While deployed, he made two trips around the world. Upon leaving the military and completing his college education, George began his career in the semi-conductor industry, reaching the level of Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the pinnacle of his career.
George is survived by his wife, Erine (Lazarakis) Perris and his four children: Kelly A. Perris-Morenko, Ellen Perris-Fitch, Ann Homann (Seth) and Charles G. Perris, all residents of California. He will also be forever loved and remembered by his 4 grandchildren, Jessica, Stephen, Sarah, and Alycia, and his great granddaughter, Jane; one sister, Stella (Perris) Soteropoulos of Melbourne, Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews.
