Francis Russell Calton
Francis Russell Calton III ( aka Frank) of Granite Bay, California, passed away on January 15, 2024.He was born on May 6, 1934 in St. Paul, MN.He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
He is predeceased by his parents, Alma (Erickson) and Francis R. Calton Senior, his sister, Barbara Malech, and brother William R. Calton.
Frank is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in 1956.
He served as Captain in the United States Army Corp of Engineers, during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jo-Anne (Heim) Calton, his four adult children, Julie Davidge (Doug); John Calton (Stacey); Jill Gonzales (Greg); James Calton (Wendi).
He has 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandsons.
His Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 21st, at 1:00 in the afternoon at Bayside Church Granite Bay, CA.
