Rick was born in Bloomington IL to Carl and Patsy Reining. He has a sister, Sharon and a brother Terry (Decease 2017). They attended Evangelical United Brethern Church there.
Rick attended schools in Bloomington, Parkland College in Champaign IL, and Sierra College in Rocklin CA. Rick obtained an Associates Degree in Technology and Computer Science.
Rick and Susan married May 15, 1986 at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville TN. Married 33 years. They have two sons, Robert(Tanya)Viele and Samuel (Michelle) Viele, 4 Grandsons, Ethan, Jack, Evan, and Beau.
Rick had many interests including traveling, cooking, competing in pool tournaments, had advanced amateur radio licence, his call sign was KA9VVU, he was in a band and produced a record.
He also enjoyed riding his Harley and participated in many charity rides that benefited underprivileged children. He truly was a Renaissance man
