Dionisio "Jon" Villamora Pinlac

December 25, 1980 — September 12, 2019

Dionisio (a.k.a. Jon) Pinlac was born on December 25th, 1980. He was born in Caloocan City, Philippines and came to the US in 1991. He resided in San Jose, California most of his life, but moved up to Roseville, California with his family in 2016 for better stability and opportunities. He initially attended Branham High School and then transferred to Independence High School. At the time, he was living in a condominium with his family and cousins. From there, that is where he met his first and forever love, Jermaine. Jon was 17, and Jermaine was 15 years old when they became a couple and have happily been together since then. They are married with four beautiful children, Darlene (19), Nathan (17), Caitlyn (14), and Ethan (12).
Jon had many hobbies. Those that knew Jon knew he had an affinity for Marvel Comics, Batman, collecting swords, spider-hunting, and making papier-mâché masks. He was also quite the handy man. There wasn't anything Jon couldn't build with his own two hands. One of Jon's best creations was a mask and sword he made for one of his kids. He really was a creative soul, and that is something that all his friends and family will miss about him.
One of Jon's best traits was that he was a persistent and hard worker. Jon's first job was a cashier at McDonalds and also worked as a glassblower. He then worked his way up working in materials handling; to shipping and receiving; to RMA planner; to inventory control specialist, and finally to buyer/procurement specialist. He worked hard to help provide for his family and also made it so that they would be able to afford and do many fun family activities together.
If there was one word to describe Jon, it would be loving. Jon wasn't perfect and he knew that, but at the end of the day, he always made sure to admit his faults, make peace with the situation, and always said "I love you" to the person he cared very much for. His love for his family and friends really showed through his actions.
Sadly, Jon's life was cut too short and so suddenly. Many of us are left wondering how and why it happened, and what could have been done to keep him on this Earth a little longer. Despite the pain and sadness his friends and family are all feeling at this time, Jon would not want any of them to mourn his passing, but to celebrate him by reminiscing all the good times they have spent with him and all the good things about him—very talented in making people laugh, sweet, and humbled.
