Denny Shields, aka "Crash" was born December 30, 1963 in Saddle Brook New Jersey to James J. Shields and Janet E. Croft. He passed away on November 26, 2014 at the age of 50.
Denny spent his younger years in New Jersey where he developed his love for music. At age 11, he moved to Spring Hill Florida. During high school, he became to be known as "Crash". He graduated from Springstead High School in 1982. In July 1983, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was a Systems Analyst. He served in the Persian Gulf War (Desert Storm). He was stationed in Grand Forks, North Dakota, where he met the love of his life Lisa Ryan in 1988. During this time is when he became a disc Jockey and worked for Magic 96 radio station. His "on air" name was the Crashman.
Denny was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1993 and moved to California where he found his niche in sales. He started by selling automobiles and then entered Real Estate where he became a New Homes Sales Consultant for Beazer Homes and Signature Homes.
In 2011, Lisa Ryan contacted Denny while she still lived in North Dakota. They got back together and had a long distance relationship until she moved to California with her son John in 2013.
Denny is survived by Lisa Ryan of Rocklin, CA, James and Denia Shields of Martinez, CA, and Janet and Ralph Croft of Spring Hill, FL.
