Dennis Michael Cutter

Dennis passed away on March 24, 2014, at the age of 68, after a short but hard fight against melanoma. He was born on June 25, 1945 in Pratt, Kansas to parents, Tom and Leah Cutter. He grew up in Stockton, California where he graduated from high school and went on to Sacramento State earning his Bachelor's degree. He met the love of his life, Janet, during high school and later married her during college. He served our country in the Army and later earned his MBA. Dennis and Janet moved to the Carmichael, CA area and started a family. Dennis and Janet lived in several other cities before finally settling in Roseville, CA in 2000. He recently retired after a successful career in finance for over 45 years.

Dennis had many hobbies and interests. He upholstered furniture, made stained glass decorations, enjoyed gardening, woodworking, cooking, traveling and spending time with his family. He had a love affair with cars and with his wife. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, uncle, brother-in-law, father-in-law, cousin and friend to many. Dennis is survived by his wife of 47 years named Janet Cutter, son Jeff Cutter (Diane), daughter Christy Riggs (Jim), seven grandchildren (Kayla, Morgan, Owen, Karly, Gavin, Rachel, and Mitchell), many extended family members and friends.
