Crissy was a loving, kind, caring, forgiving, compassionate being. A loving devoted mother to James and Aubrey, a cherished daughter, caring sister, admired niece, adoring aunt, fun loving cousin, endearing friend. She had a desire to succeed, determination to fulfill her goals and a passion for life and all living things. She was fierce and fearless in her approach to helping others while facing down and overcoming obstacles in her life, and the lives of others. Her positive attitude and her shinning soul brought comfort and light to many. She achieved a Master's of Social Work Degree and pursued her dream of becoming a Social Worker so she could apply her personal attributes toward helping others. Crissy worked for El Dorado County Child Protective Services. She was loved and respected by her co-workers, nurses, doctors, caregivers, friends and family. Her ultimate goal was to work with Veterans. She is a Marine Veteran and expressed a sincere love of her country, and a pride in having served to defend it.
Crissy will be remembered by all the hearts she touched and by those that knew her. She will be remembered for the place she held for them in her heart, genuinely, and with love. For so many of you that knew of Crissy and the battle she fought either through friends and family, teachers and classmates of Aubrey and James that reached out with kindness, offering support and including Crissy and her family in your prayers.... you are and forever will be, remembered by her family with thankfulness in our hearts.
Crissy is survived by her loving father and mother; Robert and Turesa Simmons; her protective brother Dana Val Perrin Jr. and her two adoring sons James and Aubrey, along with an extensive number of loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and many others she called her family. Her time with us may have ended far too soon, but her love, essence and bright light will forever guide us, watch over us, and live in our hearts.
