Craig was an avid seeker of knowledge and adventure. He shared his enthusiasm with everyone. He believed there was always a solution. He earned his college tuition to University of New Orleans catching his first water moccasin for venom collection, slinging burgers at McDonald’s and managing the local gas station at night.
Career: Pilot in Vietnam was with COVEY FAC. Then stateside with SAC in KC135. He continued his enthusiasm for flying after retiring from USAF with flight safety until 2001.
Parkinson’s humbled him physically and mentally, but his spirit remained resilient to the end. He mustered up his strength to celebrate his son’s birthday just four days before his physical demise. He has got his wings and is flying high now in that “other dimension”. His game of Jumanji awaits our next adventure.
