Constance (Coni) Joanne Asche was born to Frank and Helen Fries on November 25, 1951 and went home to be with the Lord on April 24, 2014. She had one younger brother Tom. She spent her childhood in Pleasant Hills, California. Coni grew up attending Faith Lutheran Church and went to Fair Oaks Elementary School where David was also a student. When Coni was in the third grade her family moved to Walnut Creek where she found herself once again in school with Dave. Coni and Dave began dating at Ygnacio Valley High School and graduated from there in 1969. She graduated from the University of the Pacific in 1973 with a degree in Art and Childhood Education. While in college Coni rededicated her life to Christ. Coni and Dave married on July 28, 1973 following both of their college graduations. After graduation, the couple moved to Sacramento where Coni worked for JK Gill, Channel 13 and eventually The Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento while Dave completed his graduate studies from California State University Sacramento. They then moved to Granite Bay into their current home. There they raised four sons: Richard, Ryan, Jonathan and Christopher. Coni stayed home to raise the boys, but was very involved at their school, Greenhills Elementary. Children were always close to Coni's heart, first her own then her students. She worked at Greenhills as a volunteer, an aide, a substitute, and finally as a teacher. She was assigned her first classroom 16 years ago. Coni was a committed teacher who spent many hours at the school and at home preparing for her lessons. She was well loved by her many students and fellow teachers. Coni is survived by her husband David, father Frank, brother Tom and his wife Teri; son Rick and his wife Deanne, their children Aubry and Jessalyn; son Ryan and his wife Karen, their children Benjamin, Zachary, Wesley, and Daniel; son Jonathan and his wife Jamie, their son Nicodemus; and son Christopher and his wife Stephanie.
