Christopher Michael Meyers

Christopher Michael Meyers passed away on September 10, 2024, in Roseville, California, at the age of 70 . He was born in Oakland, California.

Chris worked 35 years for Southern Pacific and Union Pacific Railroad. He had an interesting and diverse career. He worked for the Police Department as a Canine Police Officer. He loved his dogs and his job. Chris was able to purchase his last dog, Radar, when Radar was retired. After leaving law enforcement, he worked for General Claims as a Claims Agent investigating different types of cases. He then spent the remainder of his working years as a Locomotive Engineer.

Chris was a loving and loyal husband to his wife, Lorrie Rodrigues. In addition to Lorrie, Chris is also survived by his step-children, sister, brothers, brother- in-laws, nephews, niece, and his many friends.

We will miss his laugh, his smiles, his stories and his gentle kindness and generosity.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 2, 2024, at 11:30am to 3:30pm, at Sun City Kilaga Springs Lodge, 1167 Sun City Blvd., Lincoln, 95648.
