She enjoyed the Mary Tyler Moore Show and was inspired by this single female professional traveling the world and aspired to be like her.

Bonnie enjoyed rising to work each morning. Her first job was at Royal Globe Insurance company in New York City, New York. Her crowning career joy was as District Manager of USAA Insurance Company where she blossomed. Bonnie was the absolute best at employee recognition. This brought her great joy. Bonnie was the type of person who lit up the room! She was a believer in God and it was obvious. She was gentle, kind, generous, and encouraging. She was also fun, creative, silly and full of life! Bonnie was a fun seeking and peace seeking. Her positivity and warmth transcended culture and race. She was very open, accepting of others with an outgoing spirit. If you were having a bad day, you felt better about life having talked with her. People seemed to gravitate to her for an ear and encouragement right there at her desk. Bonnie was an incredibly devoted friend. Bonnie was truly one of a kind and those who encountered her were better for it.

Her greatest love was travel and adventure and she often traveled with friends and family. Bonnie was on a mission to travel every quarter. Her travels took her to Alaska, Egypt, Haiti, Waikiki, Maui, Cancun, Italy, Paris, Athens, Greece, the Bahamas, Playa Blanca, Puerto-Vallarta and Cancun Mexico (to see Chichen Itza), Nice, Florence, Rome, Turks and Caicos, Club Med-Ixtapa, Martinique. Her bucket list included Australia and going on an African Safari. Bonnie greeted everybody warmly, there were no strangers. She has friends across the world that she stayed connected by letter and phone.
