Bobby D.Oh
March 18, 1968 -September 5, 2018
Bobby was born on March 18, 1968 in Silver Spring, Maryland. He was the second son of Bum Soo & Duk Ja Oh.
Bobby and his family relocated to Northern California while he was in elementary school. It was here that his interest in BMX bikes, cars and fishing began. He graduated from South San Francisco High School in 1986 and then studied Mechanical Engineering at Contra Costa Community College.
Bobby moved to Sacramento in 1989. He had very little money in his pocket, but he was determined to make it. He started working long hours as a bicycle mechanic at Berkeley Cycle and Deno's Cyclery. Tapping into his love of cars he began building car stereo systems, and entering and winning competitions (1st place at the 1993 IASKA Western Regional and 4th place at the 1994 IASKA World Final). In 1995 he started working as an installer and window tinter at Elite Performance. In 1997 he started his own business Eclipse Window Tinting & Security which later became Evolution Concepts. With this business he brought the finest in auto accessories to the greater Sacramento Area. As a business owner he was known for his quality products and his sincere and friendly approach. He truly enjoyed bringing his passion and knowledge to his customers.
Bobby was a very driven person. When not working (which was rare), he enjoyed the outdoors. He especially loved off-roading and fishing. He approached these hobbies with the same passion he brought to his work. He was always more than happy to drive 4+ hours for the best fishing and off-roading! And more times than not he would have his favorite songs from the 80's playing the entire drive. It only seems fitting he spent his final day off-roading in the beautiful Arizona desert.
Bobby is survived by his parents, his siblings (Joanne, Tony, Andy, Danny), his nephews (Christian, Ethan, Logan) and his nieces (Bethany, Michaela, Kyra).
