Billy Vincent Dotoli, Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his adoring wife, children and grandchildren on July 6, 2025, in Roseville, California. He was born on July 19, 1954, in Redwood City, California, where he began a life filled with love, and laughter.
Bill dedicated his life to his family, exemplifying the very definition of devotion. He is remembered as a gentle bear, whose spirit would light up any room. The bonds he created with his loved ones were unbreakable, and his legacy lives on through them. He is survived by his beloved wife, Vickie Dotoli, his cherished children Billy Dotoli, Jr., Brandon Dotoli, and Megan Dotoli, and his grandchildren who are his pride and joy, Brayden Dotoli, Lincoln Dotoli, Isabella Dotoli, and Lleyton Dotoli who each carry a piece of his teachings with them.
Bill's strength and resilience were evident throughout his life, especially during his long illness. He faced his challenge with determination and the unwavering support of his family. Their presence provided him comfort in his final days, allowing him to transition from this world knowing he was surrounded by love.
He was preceded in death by his precious daughter Ashley Dotoli, whose memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who loved her, as well as by his father James Dotoli, mother Rita Davis who he adored, and his brother Johnny Davis who he always looked up to. The legacy of Bill is also honored by the memory of his grandparents, John and Lillian Lyles, who played a pivotal role in shaping his values and character.
As we celebrate the remarkable life of Billy Vincent Dotoli, Sr., we invite family and friends to join in a Celebration of Life on July 25, 2025, at Creekside Church in Rocklin, California. This gathering will be an opportunity to reflect on his incredible journey, share stories, and find solace in the community he has built over the years.
