Benny Lumenta, 62, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 surrounded by family in the comfort of his home in Gold River, CA.
He was born in Medan, Indonesia to the late Antonius and Rita Lumenta on February 19, 1952. He married Laura Tian in December 20, 1979. He was actively involved in the Indonesian Catholic community. A very kind and gentle soul with a loving and generous heart, he will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Lumenta; three children, Tanya (Rob) Viele, Nastasia (Jake) Hawkins, and Nicholaus Lumenta; his brothers Jimmy and Tonny Lumenta; and his grandchildren Jack and Evan Viele.
Visitation and Prayer will be held on Sunday, September 7 from 5 to 9 pm at Heritage Oaks Memorial Chapel located at 6920 Destiny Drive in Rocklin, CA. Rosary will be held on Monday, September 8 at 10 am and Funeral Mass at 11:30 am at St. Mel Catholic Church located at 4745 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fair Oaks, CA.
