Benjamin Earl McMillan

Benjamin Earl McMillan was born April 29, 1936 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Cleophus and Lenora McMillan. He grew up in Tulsa, OK and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. He honorably served in the U.S. Army for 4 years in Germany. He passed away on his birthday April 29, 2016 at 80 years old in Rocklin CA.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Central State College in Edmond, OK and an MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. For over 50 years he worked for various companies in the Information Technology Industry including starting his own company, Bentech, Inc. in St. Louis MO.
Ben played the trumpet from a young age and was a jazz aficionado. He attended the Monterey Jazz Festival for over 35 years.
He is survived by his son, Michael and his wife Cecilia, two grandchildren, John and Lauren and his cousin Mattye McKeever and her husband Marvin.
