Barry Dee Haycock

October 26, 1960 — November 12, 2017

His time here on earth ended far too soon, on November 12, 2017, when Barry Haycock left us suddenly to be with the Lord. He was 57 years old. Barry's wife of 31 years, Julie (Schuyler) Haycock, his daughter, Mollie of Sutter Creek, CA and his son, Braden of San Diego, CA, as well as his two furry friends, Alfie & Timber will miss him forever. He also leaves behind his parents, Robert & Beverly Haycock of San Jose, CA, his brother, Robert (Diana), sister Becky Poland, in-laws, Tom & Barbara Schuyler, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen (Doug) Keeney and Steve Schuyler, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.
Barry was born October 26, 1960 in San Jose, CA. He graduated from Oak Grove HS in San Jose, then earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from UC Davis, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
Barry and Julie made Rocklin, CA their home in 1988, raised their two beautiful children there, and opened their home to rescued Australian Shepherds (& one crazy Border Collie)! Barry has worked as a Civil Engineer since 1982, and presently worked for Phillippi Engineering in Vacaville, CA. Barry's greatest joys were times spent with his family, Disneyland, the SF 49ers, and BBQing in the backyard with his dogs at his side.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 17 at 5:00 pm at The Maidu Community Center in Roseville CA.
