Barbara Ann Currey

Barbara Ann (Berganio) Currey was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on November 16, 2022, at age 66. 

She was born to Guadalupe Canchola Berganio and Fermin Reugero Berganio on June 18, 1956. She was one of seven children. While living in Van Nuys, CA, she gave life to her two beautiful children, Steven Garduque and Jeanne (Garduque) Casimiro. In 1982, the family moved to Yuba City, California.  

It was during her employment at Hewlett-Packard in Roseville, California, that she met Ernie Currey. The couple married shortly thereafter. Together they shared many years of adventures.    

Barbara loved spending time in nature doing various activities like gardening and walking on the beach collecting shells.  She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, listening to music, and using her hands to create unique artwork.  

She will be greatly missed by many.
