Arlene Edith Lance of Lake Wildwood, Penn Valley California, passed away on March 12, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jack R. Lance (US Navy Retired) of Lake Wildwood, Penn Valley California.

Born October 10, 1938 in Los Angeles, California to Joseph E. Crumb and Edith I. Gibbons (Curtis).
She attended St. Bernadine's Jr. High School in San Bernadino, California and St. Anthony High School in Long Beach, California.  She also attended La Salle University in London, England.  Traveled extensively worldwide with her family in the Armed Forces.

She is survived by her three children, daughters Denise Merrill of Lincoln, California, Sheree Lowe of Citrus Heights, California, and son Mitchell Lowe of Grass Valley, California.  Her family included four grandchildren, Aaron Merrill, Philip Merrill, Ashley Dellwo and Ryan Lowe.  She is survived by her three great grandchildren Brynnley Merrill, Porter Merrill and Calum Dellwo.  She is also survived by her sister Noel Moatz of New York.

Her interests were far and wide that included backpacking, hiking, japanese flower arranging, Lake Wildwood Ladies Golf Association, Beale AFB Coyote Run Ladies Golf Club, Lake Wildwood Tennis Club, skiing, fly fishing, American Red Cross Volunteer, Interfaith Volunteer, and a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church of Grass Valley, California.
