Annie Caskey Jacques passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior July 10, 2024, in Roseville, California at the age of 93.

Annie was born in Woodstock, Ontario Canada, March 16, 1931 to Matthew Caskey and Mary Eliza Caldwell Caskey who had immigrated to Canada from Northern Ireland.

Annie was a Registered Nurse, receiving her nursing degree at Hamilton General Hospital in Hamilton Ontario, Canada. Upon graduation, a classmate was moving to California and suggested Annie join her, which sounded like a great adventure. Applying for and accepting a position at the hospital in Upland, California the great migration was on.

The year before her work permit was to expire, A doctor friend suggested she shouldn’t return to Canada without spending time in the San Francisco Bay Area and wrote a letter of recommendation to Stanford Hospital where she nursed for 35 years.

Annie met her husband, Fred, at Christian Center Church in Palo Alto, California. The Jacques’ were married February 19, 1965. They lived in Sunnyvale, South Lake Tahoe, Lake of the Pines (Auburn) and Roseville, California.

The Jacques’ enjoyed traveling the world with family, friends and Prime Time classmates from Destiny Cristian Church where they were volunteer workers for 20 years.

Annie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Fred; one sister Mary Draper of Ontario Canada, two sons Stephen (Karen), David (Letty), Daughter Kimberly Schott (Timothy), six grandchildren, Sean (Kayla) Jacques, Marli Schott, Kailey Jacques, Bryce Schott, Aidan Jacques and Alex Cheung.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 10, 11:OOAM at Destiny Christian Church, Rockliln, California.
