Historia del Ángel
Angel Isaac Meza Hernandez nació en Tepic, Nayarit, México el 26 de enero de 1999, hijo de Guadalupe Angelica Angelica Hernandez e Isac Mesa Corrales. Creció en Ahuacatlan, Nayarit, México. Cuando tenía cinco años, su familia se mudó a Rocklin, California, EE. UU.
Angel asistió a las escuelas de Rocklin. Como estudiante en Rocklin High School, era un estudiante sobresaliente, especialmente la mayoría disfrutaba de las matemáticas, la historia y la lectura. Disfrutaba mucho ayudando a los niños en las clases de educación especial. Veía el fútbol con entusiasmo, afirmando al Real Madrid como su equipo favorito. También amaba a los LA Dodgers.
Después de graduarse de la escuela secundaria en 2017, asistió a la Universidad Estatal de San José en San Francisco East Bay. Se especializó en Ciencias Políticas y esperaba obtener su Maestría en este campo. Aspiraba a convertirse en abogado y trabajar con políticos que pudieran promover los esfuerzos de los inmigrantes para lograr sus sueños.
Durante su cuarto año de universidad, sus estudios se vieron interrumpidos cuando le diagnosticaron leucemia. Regresó a Rocklin para estar con su familia durante su tratamiento médico prolongado.
Ángel y sus amigos disfrutaron de viajes cortos por carretera a las playas y zonas montañosas de California. Angel disfrutó especialmente de un paseo tranquilo por el bosque. Durante el tiempo de aislamiento de COVID, se mantuvo en contacto con amigos por chat telefónico.
El domingo por la mañana, 5 de diciembre de 2021, Ángel se deslizó pacíficamente hacia la eternidad con su familia cerca. Le antecede en la muerte su abuelo, Camilo Hernandez Estrada. Le sobreviven sus padres Guadalupe Angelica Hernández e Isac Mesa Corrales, las abuelas María de Rosario López Hernández y Amalia Corrales Quiñones, y numerosas tías, tíos, primos y amigos.
Angel era una persona muy optimista. Si compartiera un poco de sabiduría con sus amigos, les diría que miren las muchas oportunidades que tenemos ante nosotros y aprovechen el momento. Querría que triunfáramos y nunca nos rindiéramos.

Angel Isaac Meza Hernandez was born in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico on January 26, 1999, to Guadalupe Hernandez and Isac Mesa Corrales. He grew up in Attuacattaan, Nayarit, Mexico. When he was five years old, his family moved to Rocklin, California, USA.
Angel attended Rocklin schools. As a student at Rocklin High School, he was a straight A student, especially most enjoying math, history and reading. He found a lot of enjoyment in helping children in the special education classes. He watched soccer with enthusiasm, claiming Real Madrid as his favorite team. He also loved the LA Dodgers.
After graduating from high school in 2017, he attended San Jose State University in the San Francisco East Bay. He majored in Political Science and looked forward to getting his Master's Degree in this field. He aspired to become a lawyer and work with politicians who could further the efforts of immigrants to attain their dreams.
During his fourth year of college, his studies were interrupted when he was diagnosed with Leukemia. He moved back to Rocklin to be with his family during his extended medical treatment.
Angel and his friends enjoyed short road trips to the California beaches and mountain areas. Angel especially enjoyed a peaceful walk in the woods. During the time of COVID isolation, he kept in touch with friends by phone chat.
On Sunday morning, December 5th, 2021, Angel slipped peacefully into eternity with his family nearby. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Camilo Hernandez Estrada. He is survived by his parents Guadalupe Angelica Hernandez and Isac Mesa Corrales, grandmothers Maria de Rosario Lopez Hernandez and Amalia Quinones, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Angel was a very optimistic person. If he were to share a bit of wisdom with his friends, he would tell them to look around at the many opportunities we have before us and seize the moment. He would want us to triumph and never give up.
