Anastasia Stumbaugh passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, in Auburn, California. Born on January 15, 1948, in Calape, Bohol, Philippines, she was a daughter of Pedro Dumaing and Isabel Boladdgoo, and the cherished member of a large family of 12 family members.
Anastasia's life journey led her to meet and marry Dwayne Thomas Stumbaugh in 1969 after their daughter, Michelle, was born in 1968. As a devoted homemaker, she worked tirelessly taking care of her family while Dwayne served in the Air Force as a firefighter, stationed in various locations, including the Philippines, Okinawa, and Klamath Falls, Oregon, and eventually in Atwater, California. They welcomed two more children: Jeanne and Dwayne Jr.
Dwayne Sr., who passed away in 1998. In the years following, she lived with Jeanne and Dwayne for a while before joining her daughter Michelle and her son-in-law Arthur as they settled eventually in Folsom, California. Anastasia’s family was her pride and joy, which included not only her children but also grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored her.
She is survived by her daughters Michelle Harris of Folsom, Jeanne Stumbaugh of Aurora, and her son Dwayne Stumbaugh of Aurora. She is also remembered fondly by her son-in-law Arthur N. Harris of Folsom, her grandsons Devin Harris of Roseville, Marcus Harris of Galt, Nicholas Harris of Modesto, and her great-grandson Andre Harris of Roseville, who brought her boundless joy.
Her unexpected passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her. As we remember Anastasia, we celebrate a life rich with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, her spirit echoing in the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
